In order to support the research-development and innovation activities in the field of information technology and communications, as well as to promote and support innovation and transfer of knowledge, information, experience and specific TIC technologies, particularly in the area of cloud computing, the internet of future and the smart city concept, at the beginning of the year 2015 the applicant accessed the Internet of Things cluster.
The company’s intention to focus on information and communications technology took shape by entering into framework agreements with the major telecom operators in Romania, namely Orange, Vodafone, Telekom and also by involvement in other projects, such as:
- DQT Platform – the public system for developing the culture of information as part of the knowledge-based information society;
- Supply of solutions in the metropolitan projects of buried optical fibre-based wideband networks of NETCITY type;
- Supply of solutions for SMART CITY projects – integrated management solutions based on unified communications platform for the services offered by the administration;
- Partner projects based on the Bilateral Romanian-Norwegian Cooperation Agreement – based on Norwegian grants in the IT&C area;
- Ro-NET project, for achieving the broadband infrastructure in disadvantaged areas;
- Achievement of the innovative Platform project of modular Data Center type;
- Achievement of land surveys, preparation and endorsement of the site plans, preparation of the engineering designs for the building permits, design for civil engineering and electricity works and installation of the telecommunication projects and obtaining the building permits, supply and startup of the Central System for Management and Supply of Services for the fixed and mobile networks.
