The general objective of the project is to increase the economic competitiveness of Business Service Consult International SRL and support innovation within the company, by creating an innovative product and innovative services, based on a cloud infrastructure, with unique features in Romania, with applicability in within the Internet of Things cluster, as well as in the rest of the economy. This platform will be accessible through an application, which will allow the development of innovative services such as complex cloud infrastructures. Also, the realization of the cloud type platform aims at the vertical integration of ICT solutions within the company, following the tendencies of concentrating the activity on this sector. The estimated term for the implementation of the project is 24 months. During this interval, the applicant aims to create a platform that allows the control and operation of a complex cloud infrastructure, by developing a state-of-the-art platform, using a unitary solution, easy to manage (self-supply, automatic billing system, security systems, back-up and disaster recovery solutions, etc.) with capabilities to provide complex cloud services (resilient databases, artificial intelligence and business intelligence systems, containers, software development environments). The platform will also provide users (customers) with a system through which they can develop and implement (or migrate) the necessary cloud environment automatically, without human intervention, thus eliminating the costs of this process.
The main features of the implemented platform will be the following:
- Delivers the necessary cloud resources automatically for each type of application (manages in the most efficient way the necessary resources and in this way the costs of operating the cloud infrastructure decrease);
Migrates / installs the application in the cloud platform automatically (eliminates the need for human interventions in migration scheduling and thus reduces the costs of human resources required);
- Distributes the application on servers optimally, depending on the most frequent access location (s), available resources, costs, etc.
- Automatically monitors the application and automatically distributes the necessary updates to the software platform on which it is hosted (operating system, database, etc.).
By fulfilling the overall objective of the project, Business Service Consult International S.R.L. will also meet the objectives set by the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2, Specific Objective 2.2, Investment Priority 2b, Action 2.2.1 "Supporting the growth of added value generated by the ICT sector and innovation in the field through cluster development":
1. Development of the own research-development-innovation activities of the enterprises, including by promoting some support measures financed from national and European funds. Thus, it is presented as a priority the development within the sectors of intelligent specialization, of the integrated structures that bring together companies and research organizations with a similar and / or complementary profile (eg innovation clusters, competence centers);
2. Promoting the 10 economic sectors with competitive potential, including Information and Communication Technology.
